Man Nuju has to start working out his left arm more
This moc is great!
Really good for a first revamp!
I really love this revamp! It’s simple, faithful, and effective in it appearance and functionality! Creative design for the gimmick-arm and the lower legs.
'd.
Anyway, this looks pretty cool. Nuju Hordika has a very special place in my heart, because he and Sukkorak were my first sets. I like the way you made him look more bestial, but in a few places, he ends up looking pretty bootleg. His left arm is pretty underwhelming, his thighs are under armored, and the textures are all over the place, what with the Chima ad ons, HF shield, Technic and and Vorox armor. Also, red axles and blue pins
Well, if I made it special it’d take away from the distinction of the right arm (which is intentionally more pronounced-both in original set and here).
I really like this
would be an awesome official set
i love the more animalistic look
I really like that you set out, and ultimately accomplished making Nuju look less scrawny-humanoid and more beastly.
He’s got a little more meat on his legs, which I like, and I do like the tufts of fur too. I’m not sure about the double-joined knees, though they don’t dramatically change or break the flow coming down the legs. I also kind of wish that the back of the lower legs had some more meat, though I can easily imagine why this couldn’t be helped.
I admire that you’ve kept a similar function in the right arm while also keeping it a little more easy on the eyes. He’s got a similar blade to carry too, I like that. I do wonder if there’s a way to store his blade on his back? I don’t imagine the horn on the back would do much good.
I’m not sure I like how skinny and… well, basic the left arm looks. It does have the Hordika part, which does work, and I like the asymmetry, but I wish there could have been something more on the upper arm.
I really like how the revamp looks from the front, especially with the blue pins. I think this is one of the few instances where the blue pins help with a MOC’s color scheme! I would have liked to see a little more of the trans-light-blue on his build, but those pins definitely do help a lot.
Rather impressive for your first revamp, I must say.
