That kind of defeats the purpose of the hat, doesn’t it? what was the LEGO group thinking? Also, if that’s real plastic it would instantly melt. However I do own a Devils hat that has black as the base color. Does that make me a hypocrite?

Uh… wut.
I don’t, I don’t understand why that’s a thing.

Makes sense for Gali at least.

I picked up a copy of the Adventures Sampler in that set in Powell’s Bookstore (just the book) for really cheap. Like, under $3 cheap. It’s probably the most uncommon BIONICLE collectable I own, but unfortunately for me, rarity does not always equate to desirability or resale value. : :triumph:

Is the Sampler just excerpts from the 2004 book series

Yeah. It’s literally just the Introductions and Chapter 1s of Adventures 1-4. Nothing else. Best part is some of the intros spoil the endings of the previous books, so it’s not even all that great as a Sampler if you can believe it.

Nexo Knights are sooo last year.

I actually have the book on the right.

Dorling-Kindersly used to be so dominant in their field. But now… I can’t think of the last time I’ve seen their name on anything recent.
There’s gotta be a story there, right?

There was a kid who I saw wearing that ■■■■■ at my elementary school. Might not be too obscure.

And Rockho completely wins this topic with his Piraka freaking teeth. Easily the most obscure and ridiculous thing on here by far. Seriously, where the heck did those even come from?
