Nice job! While I didn’t really mind the slightly slimmer torso on the official set, I think the amount of bulk here looks good; reminds me of how he looked in JtO. The photos too make this MOC look especially good, for some reason.

I think the hammer head is a bit too large. Granted Onua is massive, but his original hammer was kind of already a bit too big for him and despite the revamp to me it just looks a little odd having a hammer taller than his legs and wider than his chest xD
Terak is actually a pretty good set, though given the revamp I’m unsure as to whether he’d work as this Onua seems to be a bit bigger in terms of the upper body. Honestly i could see this revamp potentially having Terak as his hammer or something xD
Though yeah, @RaptorTalon be sure to get Terak, he gives me Bohrok vibes for some reason and his colour scheme is interesting. He’s got a nice sort of ‘digging’ movement with his arms xD
You should be fine, they normally do sales on the Lego shop. Still waiting on sales for more of my buying spree xD
A bit more color coordination could do the MOC some good; some of the gold and black could be distributed more evenly. A little more purple or trans clear would suit Onua well. However; your photography more than makes up for the drawbacks of the MOC. Nice job?
