However I’m not sure how to lay out the years amongst themselves.
I could do rows, where 2015 is behind 2014, and ‘16 is behind ‘15. Which I would think would look very cluttered, unless I put big ol’ walls between the rows.
My other thought was one big line, but now travelling between years would be a very long, unless nether portals were used.
I could do two lines, where odd years are across from the year prior. But with that, do I leave gaps so year pairs start together, or minimize gaps and hope the years average out in width for some cohesion?
I would group them in rows for one year at a time, since most years see more than five playsets. Have rows of five and do as many as that year requires to fill out all its sets. Then, move to the right and add the next year.
That way you have both rows and one line without things getting too cluttered or being too monotonous to navigate. Also, I see you’re moving on from just the one set… Massive undertaking for sure.
I’d say put them in one very long line, with maybe some blocks on the ground to divide the years. You could use command blocks to make quick teleports, like a main lobby with TPs to each year.
