Ooh this moc is really colorful and unique. Love the use of older, unorthodox parts, like the lifejackets and Galidor limbs. Color scheme is great too, a neat moc.

It’s like if Simon Stalenhaag illustrated the pipe screensaver. This thing is super cool, I’m also pretty jazzed about the lifejacket texture, I was wondering how I could apply mine and now I see it pays off. Nice job!

The Violet Technic connectors come from the Technic Jango Fett buildable figure (8801-1) and the medium violet pieces on the legs are Galidor. They’re not a perfect match but they’re close enough

Besides using the Violet Galidor and Jango Fett pieces together, the MOC was basically just an excuse to use the tubes

Ah that set was always a funny one, I remember seeing it and thinking the catalog image was coloured odd or something. In hindsight that time before TLG hit rock bottom saw lots of great short-lived colours. Thanks for the correction, I checked Bricklink and see I got mixed up with Blue Violet which only lasted from 04-05
