Hey Greg, Which Matoran group is physically stronger? Onu-Matoran or Po-Matoran?

The Po-Matoran are the ones with enhanced physical strength. Onu-Matoran has enhanced night vision.

Onu-Matoran are said to have enhanced strength too

But from a narrative point of view I think it makes more sense for Po-Matoran to be stronger, because they otherwise wouldn’t have any one unique advantage over all of the others

Also of note, Pohatu seems to be stronger than Onua

Great question! The answer is stone:

Q: If Onua had his Pakari removed, would he still be as strong physically as Pohatu?
A: Assuming another mask was put on him, he would be close but maybe not right at the same level.

This is consistent with the strength stats for Toa Nuva and Toa Mahri:
Nuparu and Onua = 12
Hewkii and Pohatu = 13
