Piece by piece (The next Lego movie) Ft. Pharrel Williams

Here is the trailer for the newest Lego movie, Which as it was rumored, is an animated biopic of Pharrell Williams.

So, what do you think of this?
TBH I miss the old stop-motion-esque style of the previous films, but I’m still curious about it.

It looks interesting! Using Lego to retell a life story indeed seems like a random choice at first, but it’s neat. I don’t think I’ll watch it because I don’t like the music and am not interested in the singer, but it seems like it could be a nice movie nevertheless. Also, Bionicle trident.

I probably will not watch it in the cinema either, but I will give it a go when it lands on streaming.

(Agreed, that trident made of the G1 parts is awesome! :+1:)

You don’t know how much I want that mini fig of Snoop Dogg to be real

I’m gonna try to convince my family to watch this, looks like a lot of fun! I don’t follow Pharrell Williams excessively but I like the stuff of his that I have listened to.

And yeah some of those figs are sick, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg would be crazy additions to collections. Pharrell himself looks pretty rad too!

I probably won’t watch it when it comes out, but it doesn’t look bad
The lego aspect is interesting and I think the animation style works well for what they’ve set out to make

I’m not opposed to watching it but I’m not eager for it. I really don’t have any connection to Pharrel Williams nor any special love for Lego movies

Makes sense. I don’t hear many people talking about Pharrell Williams anyway, so I don’t know that there was much market for this movie to begin with.

I borrowed it from the library. Weird seeing strippers and george floyd riots in a lego movie.
