This is actually a much, much older moc of mine, that recently got a minor revamp, aka pieces in different colors. I’ve never really bothered with creating a topic for it anywhere due to how simple it is, but figured there would be no harm creating one here. Funny enough I’ve had him built since like 2012… one of my all time favorite mocs of mine, and the first moc I submitted to flickr. Link to Gallery,which includes the original version. He hasn’t changed much in several years.

My original reason for building him was something akin to boredom, and wanting to do a ‘tropical’ colored Voya-Nui Fikou.

Also because I could not resist the temptation after picking up a Mixel model

Something I feel I should note is that this is the only moc I’ve made that I’ve purposefully bought parts for to complete, mainly the red mantax pincers. Normally when I build, if I don’t have a specific part, I just don’t bother with it.

Neat little creation. I love the choice of bright and striking colors which really makes it look all the more poisonous.

Well he was part of the 2014 bzpower convention circuit, so he probably did see some terrible things during that time.

Very clean and solid build. The colors are nice, and those mixel eyes…

Overall, I love it. Only complaint is the eyes in the original version not being completely red and round, but those pieces aren’t the easiest to find so I don’t mind.

These are awesome. I especially love the color scheme. It definitely gives off the Poisonous vibe. And they certainly look tropical.

10/10 because I said so.
