I hope that Mega will stay in this game, but with these rule:
Mega Pokemon (including pre-evo like Magikarp, Kadabra) cannot use Z-Moves. OR you can only use one of them in the entire battle.

Pretty much. They’re the new “Slow Start”. Gamefreak tried to balance something powerful, but ended up making it completely useless, just like with Regigigas.

What about with Rayquaza?
You mean one of the most OP legendaries in existence, especially after receiving a MegaEvo? THAT Rayquaza? That thing needs some hindrance.
(Though I find it’s power overwhelmingly AWESOME)
Really depends on how strong they are though.
I was more talking about it potentially using a Z Move.
That could be deliciously broken…,

Eh, Z-moves aren’t a guaranteed OHKO. Not to mention it takes up an item slot and could only be used once. Wait a minute, Mega Ray has its item slot open… oh no…
@Alvarado9660 Hmm… I have to say that I’m not really liking Z-moves. Mega Evolution was great because it made your Pokemon more powerful and changed their looks, Z-moves are just powerful signature moves that can only be used once…
Why’d they have to toss Megas to the side for this? So lame.

Im not sure they got rid of mega evolution as a whole, hopefully its still here even if we don’t get any more mega pokemon. Or maybe they’re just finding new ways to break the metagame.
Oh old Megas will most likely be there, I’m talking about new Megas. Why the heck would I want fancy one use moves over new Super Saiyan Pokemon? Why toss Mega Evolution to the side and make something that’s completely useless in most scenarios? Especially after all the flack they got for not including Mega Flygon or Milotic. The demand for more Megas has always been large.
I want mega flygon so bad ;-;
