Poll: Who was your favorite Comic Artist

I’ve been looking through a bunch of Bionicle artwork done in the comics recently and now my opinions waver between Randy Elliot and Sayger. However Zanier does some gorgeous artwork.

I h8 all of them, silly terribad. Rob Liefeld is teh bestest evar of all timee, eh shud hav drawn teh comiks!

jk, Rob Liefeld is the worst comic book artist I have ever seen. Go search up his drawings, they are so bad it’s funny.

Also, I like Sayger and Elliot the best, I like their drawing styles. They just fit with the stories
.

Only good thing Liefeld did was… Oh wait, I hate Deadpool. Never mind

Rob Liefield BIONICLE sounds hilarious

We’d get a lot more canisters, that’s for sure. Ba dum tsssssssssssssssss

I was really torn between Pop and Leigh, had to go and look at a bunch of their comics to decide - picked Pop, but there wasn’t much in it. I also liked Stuart Sayger although I wasn’t so keen on how he portrayed the characters, they were often very spindly and roughly drawn, and his take on the 07 Ignika always annoyed me, on the positive side it was better for making the characters look dynamic and capture movement. I wasn’t so keen on the feel of the 01-05 comics, just didn’t really capture my imagination so much.

Stuart Sayger was great at drawing villains (Barraki, Piraka, Brutaka, Vezon, Umbra, Nocturn, Maxilos, etc.), but not heroes. Jaller looked like he had a freaking beak in the 2006 comics! Like, come on! The Mahri just didn’t fit with the art style, then again 2007 was kind of a bad year, but any bad years aside, he was a good artist. Had to go with Zanier though, even though he did such little work in the comics, the work he did was freaking amazing! Leigh Gallagher was also one of my favorites, along with Randy Elliott.

Carlos D’Anda. The very first page of the very first comic, in which Kopaka rebuilds himself and rises up… It honestly gives me the chills even now. (Pun not intended.) I really liked his style, too; had a sort of detail and texture that just feels perfect to me.

I really like the stile of Stuart Sayger that made Villains more menacing and evil.
