Princess Storm "Constaction figure"

Anyone here a fan of the original Knights Kingdom theme from 2000? Is anyone also a fan of constraction figure? Well I am so I mashed the two together.

Princess Storm by Paul Joosten, on Flickr

I had bought a second copy of the Praetorian Guard for another project but was left with the red skirt piece. It didn’t take long for me to know what I wanted to do.

The custom torso may not be the best “paint” job but I’ve never been good with paint so I got no excuse for the rough job.
for reference as this is the fig it’s based off of.

Also side not this was one of my first minifig I got as a child and has been probably my favorite.

The OG Macy.

The helmet looks fine despite the lack of “eye-hole”, can’t really suggest anything for the chest design, but everything else is fine- :dagger:

as someone who loves cloths and paint on their mocs, not going to lie, this looks really cool, only complain would be the head

Thanks guys.

Yeah the helmet I really am not to fond of but I have yet to find a better design.

It definitely speaks for this MOC that I immediately recognized that minifig in it. I think I got that princess knight in a set on christmas 2000… Should even have pictures of it with the box on them somewhere. I also seem to remember that that minifig had a name? Not sure, though. Irene? Irina?

This looks pretty sweet! The chest painting is pretty great, my only complaint is that the helmet doesn’t really resemble anything.

Thanks! Yeah the helmet isn’t to great, I tried to make it look as much like the helmet/visor piece from the minifig but that proved to be rather difficult.

I love this idea of turning minifigures into constraction figures. Though the painting on the torso isn’t the best, it conveys the printing well. I also love the boots on her, and how they partially wrap around the shin armor. Great MOC!

Must be hard to fight, with not being able to see /s
Really good though, I like the boots and how well you represented the minifigure.

This was before my time. You must be old.

Oh yeah, I lived knights kingdom. Great build.

Macy is nothing in comparison tho.

Thanks! I’m glad you liked he boots as I believe they were the last thing I added. With the regular feet by them selves just look to much like regular shoes.

Not too fond of the shield I think the colours clash, but i understand if it’s all you had to work with

My reason for the shield choice is actually because it was close to the original minifig’s shield. I do admit the colours do clash and even as a kid a thought so but I went for a more accurate representation rather than a more eye pleasing shield.
