The way my username was thought up was different from most. Mine was actually due to a poem I wrote. I have it in my profile right now, but it is here:
#The Paradox
The paradox is the only truth, for it is true and yet a lie, It should make sense, yet it doesn’t, and they don’t even know why, But it is closer to reality than the straightforward sentences humans think make up their world, Because reality is not straightforward, it’s contorted, twisted and swirled. Humans think the paradox is an interruption in their perfect logic, They believe the paradox is unnatural and chaotic Their faith in their view of reality blinds them to the facts Human logic distorts reality, the paradox puts it back No equation should actually work; two plus two should equal five, The periodic table should be shaped like a tuba, inanimate should be alive, The Earth should be flat and square, and animals should be rocks, And the secret to life, the universe, and everything should be the paradox.
Can you think of poems about your username you would like to put in your profile?
Can you think of poems that others could put in their profiles?
Post them here if you can!
Maybe I should to that for my profile. My current Profile is just this:
I don’t know what to say about myself, so I’m just going to say that I don’t know what to say about myself, so I’m just going to say that I don’t know what to say about myself, so I’m just going to say that I don’t know what to say about myself, so I’m just going to say that I don’t know what to say about myself, so I’m just going to say that I don’t know why you’re still reading this.
There once was a man with a Metru Hau,
That made everyone say “wow!”
But one day the man decided to chronicle,
and he wore a fancy monocle,
reading the book he studies now.
Began his life in mountains high
Far away from where treasures lie
Near rivers rushing, waters wide,
did his life go on, devoid of pride.
From the halls of the free to the oceans below
To the secluded Refuge that none may know
did the Knight of Stars attain his face
before that he would advance to space
Forever bound to walk alone
Or so he thought, while on his own
for in his travels he landed here
And found kindred spirits that shine so clear
So till the day he soars above
to join the wondrous stars thereof
Does the faceless mage right the wrongs
Trying to find his very own song.
