These strange things are the kraata equivalent of the shadow rahkshi armor, used to protect kraata from light in the Kingdom AU. This heightens their lethality but shortens their existence. It also gives them strange abilities that defy physics. They are summoned with the technology of Rahkilla Type suits (technology similar to what was used for K-Kal), and are used as weapons.
