Here’s my build for a new type of Rahkshi. I don’t actually have much lore written about it, beyond the idea that its among the first Rahkshi to be native to Bara Magna. So everyone’s freaking out like, “but the Makuta are gone, and Tahu destroyed all the Rahkshi so… where are these new ones coming from?” As for the build itself, I like to imagine its a canister set from a timeline where Bionicle didn’t end in '10, hence why I dubbed it “Rahkshi 2011?”.
The new generation of Rahkshi all have new powers and abilities, with this one in particular carrying the power of “repulsion.” This allows it to emit a powerful force that throws targets away from it at high speed (and may even shatter them apart if they lack the toughness to take it). Basically - this Rahkshi can Fus Ro Dah.
Here’s a close-up view of the torso. While I kept the limb construction simple, I wanted to play around a bit with the torso. It’s roughly Inika-build proportioned, but the shoulders have articulation, introducing a range of poseability. That way, when you ask it “hey, where do you store your kraata?” it’s able to shrug at you.
While the '03 Rahkshi had varying primary colors paired with dark grey as a secondary color, this new gen flips that; black is always their primary color, with their power noted by their secondary color instead. Thus, Sand Blue = Repulsion.
POV: You’re approximately one second away from being sent flying. Here, you can see a bit of that shoulder articulation at work, too. I think under normal circumstances, using a mata arm in this type of socket would limit possibility, but thanks to the shoulder construction it actually allows for a wide range of poses. Just looking at this photo, you can probably extrapolate how those arms can bend forward and back and side to side in all sorts of ways.

A funky pose to give you another taste of that arm articulation again. A note about the weapons: I imagine its Repulsion ability as this spiraling energy force that just throws everything in the Rahkshi’s path backwards. And I really wanted to emulate that with the weapon build, so I went looked at all sorts of weapons thinking about what I could do to give the staff this rotating vortex/spiral feel to it. Tell me if you think I nailed it.

Intro
I send this message to all Toa: The Rahkshi have returned. I’m sure your first instinct may be to doubt the veracity of this claim - it was mine too. When we battled for our fate alongside the Great Spirit, I was chosen to wield the Golden Armor to see to their destruction; I know better than anyone, perhaps second only to the Makuta himself, not a single Rahkshi survived that day.
No, the situation we face today is more dire than a few survivors slipping through the cracks; we believe that someone, or something, is creating a new generation of Rahkshi right here on Bara Magna. And, if what I have been told is true, they wield new abilities unknown to previous members of their kind.
At the present moment, we do not know what their ultimate goal or purpose may be, nor what they are fully capable of. Thus, I urge all Toa to proceed with caution. We have overcome them before, and we can do it again - but do not be a fool and think you can engage a group of them alone. It may be the last thing you do.
