RedPandalorian 3.0 (SelfMOC)

Hello, nice humans of the internet! Sorry for the lack of posts as of late. Yesterday, I fixed the proportions issue (the shoulders were too wide, and the chestplate was too high up the torso) in Redpandalorian 2.0/2.5 with the all-new 3.0! I am very satisfied with this version, and I even went through the hassle of posing models in Stud.io just because I felt that this version is special.

Here is my posed picture:

Here is the selfie (it is very scary)

Here are some POV rays. (I chose POV ray because it doesn’t make the computer the loudest thing in the room, and it shows the colors better than Photoreal does.)

Here are a whole lotta angles

This is all I have to show. As always, here are the disclaimers and whatnot

  • The rahkshi shins are supposed to be Ignika shins
  • the zipline element sticking out of the neck should be wrapped tightly around the neck socket.

I hope you guys like this! I’m open to any suggestions! (The tail and ears are because the RedPandalorian has always had those features ever since I was 7 or 8 years old, the time of his conception.)

His torso and tail feel a little blocky, though I do like how you upsized the Mata torso. His lower legs and tail feel a little small, though the proportions on the upper arms are better. I’m also not a fan of where the gear is placed on his lower body. I do like the color scheme, though.

I think I said most of these things on your last version, though, so I’ll go over some things I like that have changed.

I like the upper arms better than the previous version, and I like how you bulked up the lower arms a little, though I don’t like the exposed antistuds. The color scheme on the gear is a little better, though I still think it’s maybe not got the best placement. I do like the Nuva chest armor better on this one, though I think it’s maybe a bit too far from the torso. I also like how you provided more angles than on the previous version.

Overall, pretty good, though I still think he could be improved further.

Do they? I don’t think the lower legs are small, but the tail can use so much more improvement. All the problems with the tail are really because of my capabilities being limited by Stud.io. If I ever save up the 115 dollars to order this guy, I will likely redesign the tail once I actually hold him in my hands, and it will look SO much better. Digital building is not my specialty.

Absolutely. This is why I put version numbers on this MOC. All my MOCs evolve, and for this one, I want to see the evolutions with each number. This MOC has changed so much since 1.0, and will change so much more in the future.

The self MOC you made is really beautiful. Love the details you put on the build.

Thanks! The more details, the merrier! This response is so cheesy, it might be cheesier than Bionicle: Journey to One.
