I agree, integrating Mata Nui into the Vahi is a super cool idea! I like how Mata Nui’s pose on each mask ties into the respective mask power as well—waiting quietly in the mask of time, awakening in the mask of life, and using his power to shape the area around him in the mask of creation. In a more meta sense, the storytelling on the masks also reflects the timeline of G1’s story.
