Not really Halo skits. I think the only things related to Halo is the fact its made in the game. In RVB, I don’t think its Halo canon, with some parts it suggests human covenant war, but that was in season 1. And some weapons are made fun of, and the animations from season 6/7(?) were pretty awesome. Give it a chance. It was worth it when I spent a week watching the entire series.

To be honest, I think I liked the first season soundtrack a bit better than the second season.
Although I may change that position when they release the full album.

I’m probably late for the party on this, but with the season ended I feel this might be a good time to speak my piece on something that really bugged me this season:
The World of Remnant episodes.
I’m a big fan of worldbuilding, I like learning about the world a story is in, all the little intricacies and facts about a world fascinate me. That’s one of the reasons I love settings like Middle Earth, Warhammer 40K, and the Inheritance Cycle.
But I also want to see/hear/read the ACTUAL STORY.
And I want the worldbuilding to be done well.
I can handle the odd exposition infodump, but I want it to be worth it. World of Remnant… wasn’t worth it. It could have been something interesting for lore freaks like me. Instead, we get a lot of what we already knew, or could have guessed. And I could handle that, even, a little “Word of Oum” can be good for a series.
But I always felt like I could be watching RWBY instead of this. If these episodes were more interesting, I could handle the change of pase, but they just felt pointless to me.
I think if RT continues to do the World of Remnant, they should put release them between seasons when we don’t expect it. Then, instead of making us wait another week for the episode and being annoying, they help bridge the gap between seasons with teases of what’s to come, and they feel like a treat.
But that’s just my opinion.

RWBY is one of those shows that I have mixed feelings about. I enjoy the artstyle, but the issues it has, animation and storywise, are really cringeworthy. And man, is the music good in this show! The soundtrack is basically enough for me to get interested in RWBY, and I’m not the type of person who drops shows easily. I mean, I even scarred myself with Oreimo 2 specials. Why not enjoy the ride if you already hopped on?
Oh yeah, almost forgot: I hate food fights.
