Salvation: Part II

“In the Fortress!” He yells as he dives to drive both his greatswords into the chest of the colossal construct (because rearing up on its hind legs presents that wonderful potential weak spot on a dragon),110% done with this thing.

“Are there not away teams out there?” Garand asked, “We are on another planet.”

Epsilon’s optic takes on a smiling expression.

“We shall keep you posted,” King-Quan said. “King-Quan, out.” He ended the communication link.

Scorchlock sighed. “Okay fine…” He said. “I guess I’ll have to tell the Captains that you refused to help, in potentially finding the second Omega Key. Because you wanted to sit on your aft!” He mentioned, wanting to grind her gears in accepting his proposal.

Thrust fired at the charging Sentinel’s head, while Vigor and Lightshift transformed to jet mode and hovered above the dragon, firing at it.

Sprocket finds the nearest Allspark hologram and activates a ground bridge portal, eyeballing a space of forest not far from the spire.

“There are,” Salvo confirms.

With a threat like that over her head, Delta had little choice. Another portal opens, and she joins Scorchlock on the cliff with Redstocker and Alterion with her.

The sentinel menacing Thrust is shot in the head and thus rendered non-functional, while the other one attacking Vigor and Lightshift is shot to pieces.

“Affirmative, crewman Zepar,” Motherboard replies, heard above the tearing sounds of Zepar’s swords striking the Faux-Hyperborea’s chest. the automaton bellows as she unfurls her wings, rising into the air and leaving Zepar’s blades slick with energon as the machine pulls away.

Zepar gives chase, his blades tasted the Energon of this automaton and Zepar wasn’t going to deny them the 10-course meal house special. The Angelicon, filled with fury, rains attack after attack on the construct, wanting to see it reduced to scrap metal.

Garand looks at Slavo, “How many groups and what is their composition?” he asked.

Epsilon waits for Sprocket to give the go-ahead.

The Faux-Hyberborea transforms to robot mode, energon leaking from her abdomen as she parries Zepar’s strikes with her sword. The machine risks aiming a kick at the angelicon’s legs, thrusting her left leg at his right knee.

“Wouldn’t know,” Salvo says. “Not my area.”

Sprocket gestures toward the ground bridge portal opening beside Epsilon and Gatecrasher.

“Please, after you,” he offers.

GC checked over his equipment and made sure everything was in order before stepping confidently onto the platform.

In a flash of light Gatecrasher emerges on the other side of the portal… right on top of the white-and-red shoulders of Topside the Autobot captain. The race car-bot cries out in surprise as the Decepticon’s weight topples him to the ground.

GC picks himself up, and brushes himself off.

“Apologies Captain.” He said, offering a hand to help Topside up.

Topside accepts the offer, and is hauled to his feet.

“No harm done,” the Autobot says.

“Let’s take a step back shall we, two more are on thier way.”

Topside looks up at the swirling green portal, then wordlessly takes a few steps back.

Thrust jumps down from his perch and searches for any other enemies.
His two other brothers transform and do the same.

Zepar stumbled as the blow struck his leg but he didn’t seem to care as he used the momentum to attempt an upward slash at the automaton.

Garand became quiet, pondering on something.

Epsilon, tentatively, stepped through the portal.

Sprocket follows right behind him, and in a moment, he and Epsilon fall onto th forest floor, leaving deep footprints in the earth and splintering roots beneath their feet.

“Whatcha thinking about?” Thrift asks him, noting his ponderous expression.

Caught off-balance, the Faux-Hyperborea falls onto her back as a pair of deep tracks are cut into her chest and midsection, the green lights adorning the machine’s body flickering as she hits the ground.

Zepar had just felled the Faux-Hyperborea, and Venture and Gronius were busy fending off thorny techno-organic Vines trying to ensure them- similar flora was erupting from the earth all around th arena.

The Faux-Atlantis marches toward Zepar, accompanied by a tall sentinel gripping a longsword in its hands.

Thrust aims at Faux-Atlantis and fires his sniper rifle.

The bullet strikes Faux-Atlantis right between the eyes, causing the giant machine to stagger and drop his sword. The weapon clatters to the ground, the crash ringing throughout the arena as Faux-Atlantis falls onto one knee.

“Aw, come on.” Thrust complains, loading another shot into his rifle firing.

Lightshift and Vigor help Gronius and Venture tackle the vines, firing at the base of the plants to try and topple them.

Somehow still online, the Faux-Atlantis holds an arm in front of his face to protect himself; the bullet striking the limb with a sharp pinging sound.

The vines menacing Gronius and Venture are swiftly cut down, though six more sprout out of the alien soil to menace Lightshift and Vigor.

@meepinater

Epsilon looks around to try and figure out where they were.

“This mission, the Omega Lock. It all seems a bit strange.” Garand said.

Zepar gives a triumphanr\t roar as he turns to face the faux-Atlantis.
