Seihu & Toa Mangai vs Rukliax Gang

A filler story that takes place around Chapter 7 of Hidden Light II

Seihu was on patrol in Le-Metru where he saw heard a noise. It was too mechanical to be a Rahi, but seemed as powerful as one.

Seihu saw a group of Skakdi arriving on jet-bikes, he didn’t know what they were doing there, but he had the hunch that it was probably not for a parade.

Seihu saw what was going on and jumped down from one of the buildings then landed in front of the bikers.

“Who are you?” asked one of the bikers.

Seihu didn’t feel like responding, but his facial reaction showed them that he had questions for them and demanded an answer.

“Get out of my way” another biker ordered.

Seihu asked, “What business do you have here, strangers?”

“None of yours, now move aside” the leader ordered.

“That’s not the answer I’m looking for” Seihu replied.

The bikers were impatient and decided to run Seihu over.

Seihu immediately jumped and somersaulted over from the path of danger.

The bikers rode past Seihu. Seihu went to catch up with them.

Seihu went on top of some buildings in Le-Metru and ran and jumped across the buildings.

Seihu decided to go through all of Metru Nui looking for that biker gang. The search led him to Ta-Metru. That is where he heard tinkering somewhere. He looked inside one of the warehouses out of curiosity and found a Matoran holding a bag of tools he bought from a merchant.

Seihu was curious to know what the Matoran was doing late at night.

“Excuse me” Seihu asked.

The Matoran looked scared and ran off as fast as he could.

“Wait! Come back!” Seihu yelled as he ran for him.

As the Matoran ran, he dropped his tools and went to the chutes.

Seihu followed the Matoran.

But before he did, the Matoran was cut off by the bikers, who spotted him while they raced off.

“Hold up, where do you think you’re going, inventor?” The biker said with a maniacal grin, with others laughing

Seihu came up and saw the sight as they tormented the Matoran.

“Hey!” Seihu yelled while jumping in, “Leave that Matoran alone”

“You again,” yelled one biker, “Stay out of this!”.

“You invade the city of Metru Nui and threaten a Matoran, and you expect me to stay out of it?” Seihu asked.

“Get out or we will force you out”

Seihu coldly replied with his thumb down, “Wrong answer”

The bikers got their weapons out.

Seihu said to the Matoran, “Run, and get to safety”

The Matoran ran and hid behind a building watching the fight.

They jumped for Seihu and Seihu fought them all. Within a minute, Seihu made short work of them. They decided to go their own route and fought Seihu on their bikes.

The bikers charged at Seihu with their bikes. Seihu demonstrated his skill by acrobatically jumping away from the bikers, but the amount of speed of opponents on their bikes caught Seihu a bit of guard. However, Lhikan came in on his hoverboard and helped stop some of the bikers. Seihu got back up and managed to knock others off of their bikes.

“We are not through yet!” One of the Bikers threatened as they fled.

Lhikan turned to Seihu and asked, “What happened?”

“I don’t know, but they seemed to be recklessly joyriding on Metru Nui, starting with Le-Metru” Seihu replied.

“I’ll tell you who they are,” a voice familiar to Seihu said while appearing out of nowhere.

“Moavernik” Seihu exclaimed.

Moavernik, he is a member of Hulgon’s small group who was responsible for hitting Sterok with the tranquilizer, back in Seihu’s fighting days.

“Long time no see, Lhikan, Seihu,” Moavernik said.

“Indeed,” Lhikan responded, “What do you know about them?”

“They are the Rukliax Gang,” Moavernik said, “They used to be a group of bike racers from an island east of Xia. But their love for the sport and greed for prizes turned into moral rebellion. They started doing illegal joyrides across several places in the Matoran Universe, as well as theft. They received new bikes in exchange for being experiments for Makuta Spiriah. Through those experiments, they received different sets of powers”

“How long have you known about them?” Seihu asked.

“I used to be a member of that gang before they snapped. I was recruited by the same group that recruited Hulgon and I. I have been tracking them down for years”

Seihu’s eyes widened at that story, “It seems that you have come a long way from that”

“For such a gang to come to Metru Nui is troublesome indeed,” Lhikan said.

“Yes, especially now that they are not only coming to steal from Metru Nui, but to smuggle in toxic Kanoka disks from Xia”, Moavernik said.

“We shouldn’t let this happen” Seihu replied.

Lhikan approached that Matoran and gave him his bag of tools, “Are you alright, villager?”

The Matoran, shaken up, nodded.

“Seihu, get this Matoran to safety” Lhikan suggested. “We’ll discuss the rest of this later on.”

“Yes, brother Lhikan” Seihu responded.

Seihu escorted the Matoran home.

Lhikan and Moavernik went to discuss more of the plan.

Seihu and the Matoran arrive at the Matoran’s place in a desolate part of Onu-Metru.

“I’m Seihu, a Toa” Seihu introduced himself.

“T…T…Tikolo”, the Matoran sheepishly answered.

“So, how long have these guys been on you?”

The Matoran nervously answered, “Several months”

“Why is that?” Seihu asked.

“I used to make their bikes,” Tikolo replied.

Seihu was taken aback when he heard it but still listened.

“In my old home, Nynrah, I along with a group of Matoran designed weapons, and tools. I used to help make vehicles for several people across this planet. These bikers recruited me to make bikes for a race. But they used the vehicles I made for theft and robbery. Because of that, I left and got a boat. I thought I was free from them before they came here.”

“That’s quite a story,” Seihu replied. “So what are you doing while you are here?”

“I’m trying to find a safe place, and hopefully start life over again” the Matoran explained.

“Nowhere is completely safe, it’s just that some places are less risky than others” Seihu replied.

“Listen, I have not known you for the longest period of time, but I do know this. For those who invade this town, misuse it and threaten Matoran like yourself, justice will be done on them” Seihu assured the Matoran.

Tikolo tugged at Seihu’s arm for a bit and urged him to follow him.

Seihu looked back puzzled.

The Matoran unveiled a jet bike he was working on.

Seihu looked at it intently.

“This is the vehicle I made years ago. I almost finished completing it for the members. But after the corruption of the gang, I just couldn’t do this anymore.” The Matoran lamented, “I don’t even know why I kept this. I guess this was a symbol of what could have been”

“It still can, don’t let the moral indiscretion of others stop you from doing good,” Seihu responded.

“The choice is yours on what you want to do, but I will fight for you like I would for everyone else.”

Seihu walked away determined to go after the bike gang.

Seihu met up with Lhikan and Moavernik to discuss the plan.

The biker gang went to Po-Metru for more joyriding after another theft. Their joyrides also were threatening to the Kikanalo’s habitat.

Just when the gang left, a strong “whoosh” went past them. It was Seihu on his Gukko.

“I will not allow you to go any further,” Seihu commanded.

Lhikan flew into the scene, along with Duji, Toa Mangai of Stone; Zerkai, Toa Mangai of Earth; and Moavernik on his bike.

At that moment, it became an all-out vehicular combat.

Lhikan impressively held his own as he was riding on his hoverboard.

Zerkai was able to turn the tables on the bikers. Using his Kakama, he was able to catch up with the bikers and use his element to slow down the bikers.

Duji used his stone powers to create obstacles against the bikers and knocked them off their bikes.

Seihu and Moavernik participated in bike jousting with the bikers. Seihu and Moavernik were impressively taking them on.

Seihu combined his kicks, strikes, and punches with his riding, Moavernik had his own fighting style with a bike.

Lhikan and Seihu did a tag team on those bikers.

With the help of the other Toa and Moavernik, Seihu subdued the biker gang.

“Now, leave the island of Metru Nui for good!” Seihu ordered.

The bikers grudgingly retreated from the city.

Seihu and the other Toa went back to Tikolo.

Tikolo replied, “If it wasn’t for you, they would still be doing this”

“So what are you going to do now?” Duji asked.

Tikolo suggested, “I got an idea”

A few days later, Tikolo got on a boat to Nynrah at a shore in Le-Metru.

In the background, Zerkai, Duji, and Moaverick were helping Tikolo get his things and tools from home.

“Are you sure that this is truly what you want?” Seihu asked.

“Yes it is, if it wasn’t for you Seihu, I never would have realized how much good I can still do while enjoying what I do” Tikolo replied. “Thank you”

Seihu nodded, “It was an honor to help you Tikolo”

Lhikan also advised, “I also sent out the word to some nearby Toa about you, they will watch over you and your home.”

“Well, I hope that Nynrah welcomes you back home with open arms,” Duji said as he put in the last package.

“Safe travels, Tikolo” Lhikan saluted.

“Bye everyone, I won’t forget you” Tikolo saluted back.

Just then the boat left.
