Self MOC: Ek

I guess I haven’t really shown off my Self MOC here yes. So here he is, Ek. The name comes from Elephant Knight, shortened to EK, turned into Ek.

like I said in the self moc topic your self moc looks super cool. its such a wacky idea of an elephant pirate whos also blacktron themed. also great elephant head build

This goes straight into my top five self-mocs I’d say. Love the UFO/Exploriens panel for the ears, the hockey chest, white Mahri visors for the hilt guard. One suggestion would be that the peg leg looks a little awkward, maybe making it start from the knee may make it bend better? Regardless, looks great, especially the head.

Also, nice to meet a fellow vintage space fan, nice Flickr builds! Smashed the follow button

Hey @TotalMaddness, time to address the Elephant in the room

Thank you! The head may be one of my proudest MOCing moments.

I do agree that making the peg leg start lower would increase pose-ability, but not everyone is lucky enough to lose their leg that low.

This is such a bizarre and oddly specific concept for a self moc, but you really knocked it out of the park. My only criticism is that it looks like his left leg is pretty sorely lacking on articulation.

That is typical for a peg leg, though.

That is a very valid point!

i love it

Not sure why he’s Elephant knight, he seems a little more like an Elephant pirate. Nice moc either way!

Love the elephant head! It’s the only time I’ve seen it pulled off so well!

Well, back when I first made an account on Ye Old Brickshelf, I was quite into castle.

But mostly this:
