Sentry guns from TF2 game

Team Fortress 2 is a multiplayer “hero shooter” from 2007 and my favorite videogame of all time.

The sentry gun is a building placed by the Engineer, that fires automatically to enemies at range. It can be upgraded increasing it power up to level 3, dealing more damage and having more health.

The sentries can rotate and lean, as well rotate the Gatling guns. Here is an Emmet for size comparison.

One problem I have with the build is that it’s quite unnestable, principally the main shaft (if you touch it too much it will fall apart without the need of a sapper). Not even Nuparu was able to sort it out, ut it’s stable enough to get these photos. But building a base solve that problem.

Hope you like them

Nice builds, shame about the shaft weakness as you said, maybe replacing some of the structure with technic would be better? Also maybe the gunbelts could be changed to a flexible hose etc?

Nice, these are really great recreations of the turrets

I’m thinking maybe a liftarm and a pin or an axle could work as the shaft, but I don’t how to connect it to the legs.
About the gunbelts, I thought about using the Hero Factory Ammo Belt pieces, but I didn’t like the look of them.
I’m also thinking in adding a base plate to increase leg strength.

Now you have to make both sappers.
Spy Sappin My Sentry!

No Ap-Sap or Snack Attack?

All three of them look good, but the level one sentry is spot on!

“Hey look buddy, I’m an engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like, ‘What is beauty?’ because that would fall under Ga-Matoran conundrums of philosophy. chuckle I solve practical problems. For instance, how do I keep some big, mean, rahi-bones from blowing me a structurally superfluous new heartlight? The answer: use a gun, and if that don’t work, use more gun.

Come to think of it, he actually got his Mahri set the same year TF2 came out. Huh.
