I drew Mestrelis again. Scene taken (roughly) from a recent battle in the “The Powers of Old” RPG, pose from Sister Friede in Dark Souls III. The latter was particularly difficult to figure out and definitely owes more to style than practicality, but I like it all the same.
that art amazing, I love the shading and shadows
Great work as always, I love your art style.
That looks amazing!
I love how you incorporated the “to build a matoran/toa” theory stuff.
Oh man this is gorgeous!
Beautifully done. The lighting and shadows are great.
The left wrist looks broken, like the thumb goes the wrong way.
Rest is great, though.

That was one of the main reasons why I decided to draw Mestrelis again, though looking over the picture now I do recognize I missed something: I didn’t extend the muscles over the neck… oh well, live and learn…
I tried the pose out with a pool cue and it does work, though admittedly it’s not very comfortable… and yes, it does look awkward. I’m pretty sure the thumb is pointing the right way, though; that’s the back of the hand, so the thumb’s supposed to be on the right.
Ok, I’m officially blind: I somehow didn’t even see that thumb there, and thought it was behind the staff. XD
Never mind me then
