sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this. cant decide on the color of the shapeways scarab shield, meant to simulate click on mat nui’s shield. it has either light blue or purple, which are both extremes that dont match his screen color of dark blue. was wondering what others thought was a better fit. answer the poll below and ill decide based on the results after a week or so.

As said above, there likely is a neat modeling acrylic paint that’ll match that iridescent look of Click’s shell.
i aint good with that kind of stuff so i gotta settle for the pre designated colors
If you are worried about brush strokes etc. An option is spray paint, there will be regular and metallic options out there. One thing though is you would want a clear coat as well to prevent chipping.

both of them are too light. Take the blue one and use spray paint
Don’t know where you live but there exists actual spray paint cans in the exact color you’d need.
Purple would look better against MN’s keetorange, imo
i thought similar, and stands out more against the other glatorian colors
