I figured I’d share my collection now, while a good chunk of it is spread out across my floor. I really need to clean up but why do today what can be done next week?
Part of my desk. I’ve been unpacking a lot of my Lego stuff recently and a lot of stuff just ended up going on my desk.
The other part of my desk. This is where my minifigures were unpacked as you can probably tell. Those pod things in the front are some of my favorite bits of Lego merchandise. They’re all Ninjago ones with a ninja and some accessories inside. I really wish they did one for Nya.
The bins. This is how I store the bulk of my Lego. IKEA is the greatest. These shelves are great. Down on the floor is a Lego briefcase and an EV3 “swerve” driving base my older brother made.
The floor. This is where the majority of my Lego stuff ends up despite having a proper place. I really need to clean this.
Part of the upper shelves. This is where my constraction guys go. The lower shelf is solely Hero Factory while the upper shelf is a mixture of both Bionicle generations (and the Creator tiger set).
The other part of the upper shelves. More of the same. I’m going to need to put up mini-shelves up top so I can get all my Lego crap off my floor and out of the basement.
The nicer models. These are some of my best display models - the Statue of Liberty, the Creator pirate ship, and a mini Statue of Liberty kit I got in New York a few years back. The Piplup is a NanoBlocks set, not real Lego. Surprisingly high quality, though, I would definitely recommend it for any fellow Piplup enthusiasts.
An excellent use of space. Whatever minifigures didn’t fit on the desk went here. I want to organize them all by series/date at some point but right now I just need to get them going somewhere.
Recent Lego sets. These are some of the best of modern Lego sets that I have. I like to keep them within arm’s reach so I can play with them easily (I swear guys I’m not a little kid).
Best use of space. Ignore my old schoolbooks. You can see my Bionicle bookends, which happen to be the first MOC I showed on the boards. Next to it, you can see my limited edition Lego Life minifigure and corresponding info card and some promotional Duplo bricks I got from Legoland California. There’s also 9 bricks in two separate shades of a “Legoland exclusive” color, in addition to a Lego promo brick stamped in some ABS plastic extruded directly from a Lego factory machine.
Above are some random sets including my modest collection of Slizers, topped by a pirate ship I got the day before my first stay at the Legoland California hotel.
This isn’t even all my Lego stuff, there’s all kinds of Technic stuff stored away that I can’t find as well as some Lego stuff temporarily entrusted to me by my older brother.
Additionally, I can’t even go into all the holiday Lego my mom has amassed over the years because of just how much there is. And don’t get me started on posters, magazines, and books. Lego is just everywhere here.
