I really tried to emphasize the difference between the organic and mechanical halves of his body, such as by making the armor look like exposed muscles on one side, and showing greebles on the other.

Too much in fact, it’s just a mess of lines to me.
Maybe so, but I like a lot of detail. It kind of reminds me of Bay-Formers, which I am in a very small minority who actually liked their designs.
