Silver the Ihidauri

An Ihidauri (Pridak’s species) who originally came to Xia in the entourage of the governor appointed by Pridak during the reign of the League of Six Kingdoms. He learned much in this time about the island, its industry, and most of all the Vortixx.

When the Barraki were overthrown and the hunt for their most important supporters began, Silver took on the name he is known by today, and hid his face under a helmet to avoid recognition.

Whether these steps were necessary or not, he was neither caught nor sold out by the Vortixx, and thus remained on Xia, even if his poistion in the local administration had become void.

Eventually, he received a new job proposition by the local company known as Xia Heavy Armaments. Equipped with the best technology Xia had to offer, he would act as one of the members of the company’s Itruxa Squad - an elite team of specialists employed to solve the comapny’s “problems”.

So this one is actually a recent MOC. I wanted to do something with cloth again and tried out sleeves for the first time. The coat is not perfect - the shoulders should have been a bit broader, and I’m sure you notice a mess-up or two, but overall, I’m satisfied. I’m pretty sure sewing it also took at least as long as the rest of the MOC :stuck_out_tongue:
The MOC has nothing too special going on otherwise, I think (most of it just needed to work well with teh coat above it). I like that I managed to use the axeheads for the eyes of the helmet.

The design of the helmet is quite curious. What lead to the three-prong design rather than just the singular fin prong?

It wasn’t specifically planned, actually.

The Visorak foot is only mounted on a pin, and there are some gaps in the construction from the side. So to keep it in place better and cover the gaps, I added those side constructions. Only those had those really obvious open studs on the front. So from there I just added what I felt looked best from the parts I had available.

That robe is sick (I especially love the way the claw buttons are integrated: makes it feel more lego-ey)!

This makes me really wish that we got more cloaks/robes with the action figures lego released (particularly in bionicle). Great job!
