Sir Fangar

This is only really the second time I’ve made a MOC with CCBS, and I gotta say the system is growing on me! Once you get to know the parts, they’re really fun to build with.
I’m not 100% satisfied with Fangar yet (I’d like to add some more white, but my CCBS parts are limited), nevertheless I’m very happy with how he turned out.

Here’s his skeleton:

CCBS was truly the perfect building system that lego got rid of just when they started unlocking its potential

This is a really cool MOC you have made. Also is that the Toa Nuva shoulder Pads you used?

Thank you! Yes those are Toa Nuva shoulderpads, the Stars Takanuva and some Sports hockey slammer sets have them in white.

“Draw me like one of your French girls”

This is one cool build, I’m loving all the gunmetal on him. The plasma blasters on the shins is inspired, been a while since I’ve seen that despite it looking so good.

My one critique is that the white nuva shoulders make it look like he’s wearing a one-piece swimsuit rather than protective armor. Might wanna consider changing those and the CCBS shells in the mid-section to gunmetal to make him look more armored.

Looking forward to more Bioman CCBS!

Thank you, now I can’t unsee that :stuck_out_tongue:
I’ll see what I can do there. I had obviously planned for the figure to look stupidly buff, but recently I’m starting to think he’s a bit too buff. Changing some parts around the area might fix both things at the same time.

As for the shin armor - saw it on someone’s MOC online a while back and was also surprised that I’ve never seen it before or since. For a technique that’s so simple yet looks so good, you’d expect to see it more often.
