this is really good!
i like the use of Knight’s Kingdom II figure armour for a helmet!

is the sword a reference to G2’s skull warriors?

Yo ho ho and a bottle of…erm, what do bionicle characters drink anyway? Lol the build looks fantastic especially the torso section. Is the spine made from studs? How does it hold together?

So much nostalgia right now, great build and clever design with mace stand, and I hope you also eventually make the dark army black skeleton variant, dragons giant trolls, the wizard etc.

wait it’s a reference to lego castle?!

Just imagining Tahu sat in a Hollywood trailer sipping robot gin out of his bionicle branded coffee cup lol

Well, I choose that piece mainly because that sword’s design looked appropriate for such a character, but I guess you could see it that way too (my copy of that piece actually came from the Umarak the Hunter set).

They are actually held together by a flex tube that goes through the hollow studs. My brother, @Toa_Radrix is the one who came up with that technique, so he deserves credit for that.

Yes… because it literally uses a sail element that came from LEGO Castle

Well… I already did the Giant Troll a while back…

Should be noted that it’d fall apart if it were just one clip, but because there’s two its about the same as if it were grasping the bar how it’s supposed to. It is quite illegal, though.

I mean it seems to work though even if it isn’t strictly a legal connection.

Yes, well …

That is what an illegal connection is. They open up a whole new world of possibilities. You just need to make sure you purge yourself of a conscience.

Gets even dicier in digital, clipping, floating impossible connections physics defying masses. It’s super tempting to just do it but I say if it works and it look good does it really matter if it’s not a "legal"connection.

Weeeell … I’d say there’s a difference between an illegal connection and an impossible connection. Kind of defies the base concept of LEGO, in my opinion.

I immediately started to think of this when reading the title:

also, not a bad build. Nice Skeleton Warrior there. :ok_hand:

Meanwhile, in Witch Doctor’s alternate life…

Very nice overall. The G2 sword piece goes surprisingly well with the older Knight’s Kingdom bits. The ribcage and spine are cool, but for some reason my favorite part is the mace as the base of the banner. Just… I wouldn’t have thought of that, and it’s neat.
