Things seemed bad, until a gang of small creatures convinced him to blow some monsters with hammers away using his blasters. Not long after, he managed to lead the insurrectionists to a minor victory, destroying a Brute power generator and hijacking a small cruiser.
On arrival at his next destination, Skids was promptly removed from command by order of Ultra Magnus for participating in an insurrection, vandalism, and use of unauthorized lethal force. While found not guilty of these charges by a joint human-Elite court, he was detained on account of severe damage to the ship he had commanded, which was immediately dry docked.
Yes, I had the idea of turning Skids into a Grunt from Halo. It worked better than I thought.
