Brooklyn-based Skyhill was formed in the winter of 2006, when Dan Avidan and Peter Lennox connected through their love of atmospheric, beat-heavy anthems.

Writing and recording throughout 2006 and early 2007, with Dan on vocals
and Peter on guitars & keyboards, the band completed what would become
their debut album, 'Run With The Hunted' (self-produced), in the spring of 2007.

The album's sound -- a meld of downtempo electronica, European house, and
alt/indie rock -- reflected the influence of the band's many musical
heroes, such as Zero 7, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, and U2.

Yes, that's right folks, that Dan Avidan.

Now, some of you uneducated Game Grumps fans might be saying "Nyran, you're a fool! Dan's band is Ninja Sex Party!"

Some of you more uneducated Game Grumps fans may be saying: "Wait, Dan has a band? BRING BAKC JON!"

But for the cooler of us GG Fans, we know about Skyhill. And I for one like it. I think Dan's vocals have always sounded good, and it's kinda odd and cool to hear him sing about more traditional subject matters in songs. Their album before the split up, "Run With the Hunted" can be found on Youtube very easily.

So yeah, you guys heard of Skyhill? If so, what are your thoughts about them? If not, does their sound seem like something you'd wanna check out?
