I was just going through some old Lego pics I have on my computer and, well, this is what I found. And since these MOCs aren’t too bad … They are between four and two years old, though.
Oh, and they’re all somewhat connected to Star Wars.
Again just cobbled together from some random garage sale parts. And again quite some Exo-Force in it. Might actually have been the same parts I built the Phindarian fighter out of, even though that was two years before this one … that reminds me, I still haven’t sorted those parts …

The “Hoth” is actually a modular build. The wings and cockpit can simply be taken off since they are connected to the main part with pins.
Same applies to the Akash - it can easily be disassembled into 5 parts.

Yes, that thing definitely has something to it. It has an interesting shape and I personally think that the background fits perfectly … it might have actually been the background that inspired the name, if I remember correctly.

So I’m gonna go in depth. The Phindarin A. 11 Starfighter
The engine turbines look a bit strange, but I like what you were going for.
The two back fins do not fit the aesthetic at all, being blocky and breaking the flow.
The shaping on the nose and cockpit, however, is something I really like.
The wings are basic, but they do their job. The Akash 47-R Heavy Fighter
This is my least favorite. Again, the nose and cockpit are good, but the rest feels blocky and a lot of the blue pieces on the turbines look slapped on.
The back engine is meh. The Imperial Swamp Skipper
It’s very unique, and the shaping is good, but I feel the cockpit should be covered.
That’s just a personal gripe, though. The Hoth
I love this one. It could do with more colour, but the shaping and the look of the studs everywhere makes it look great.
My only nitpick is that the front of the wings could’ve been shaped better.
Somehow I don’t enjoy building spaceships that much anymore. Until some years ago I built nearly nothing but spaceships, but now … I dunno, I’m just not interested in it anymore. For a little while I was working on landscape stuff and now on a regular ship. Maybe I’ll post some of that stuff somewhen, too.
Definitely. Actually this first Starfighter might have been the first serious MOC I ever built, now that I think of it. Pretty interesting considering that it is just built out of some
random parts lying around.
And yes, I also like the cockpit and nose.
Well, it pretty much is supposed to be a flying tank, but I understand what you’re saying. I’m not a big fan of the wings and especially that very outsticking back engine myself anymore. Actually I think I never liked that back engine. Why did I still use it?
I’m not sure anymore, but that’s because either I had nothing lying around for that purpose or I had no idea how to attach it properly. For a creation born from pure boredom it is pretty nice nonetheless, though.
Honestly I’m personally no big fan of the main body. It’s pracically just cube with some stuff attached to it. It might seem like you can open it up, but … nope. I’m not perfectly sure, but you actually might be able to look right through the whole thing if you open the panels on the back.
