Some good mocs there, but the marble colours are a bit hit-or-miss for me personally. In some areas like on the Shadow Takanuva they work quite well, but in other areas not so much (Toa of Fire’s mask I’m looking at you).
Also this one looks a little too close to Kongu Inika with the mask and the colour scheme, so I’d suggest adding more blue to differentiate him.
Well I didn’t have much control over how the colors are positioned on the marbled parts since studio is the one that decides where they’re positioned.
Also with the suletu wearer he was intended to be similar to Kongu inika in how Kongu got his mask from this toa’s corpse. And yeah I can agree that I should’ve added more dark blue, I’ll probably redo the render sometime today or tomorrow.
I think it’s less studio’s problem and more to do with the fact that the 3d models themselves aren’t texture mapped to accommodate for more advanced textures, which makes total sense as most of them were added/ported to studio before anyone even thought marbled colours could be possible. I personally use photoshop to get marble colours, though I understand some people might not have access, plus it’s a bit of a tedious process having to render everything twice.
I see there’s another bit of Bionicle Lore™ I’ve glossed over.
