Something I Noticed About the Masks

Now that I see this, I can’t un-see it. I’m not sure if you already have or not.

#E for Ekimu:

#M for Makuta:

#And a bonus for my fellow Undertale fans:

I will be very happy if these mask design references were intentional.

But Gaster is a coincidence. I am sure of that.

It’s never a coincidence with Toby!!!:neutral_face:
But yeah, probably. :disappointed:

Shouldn’t this be in Bionicle though?

Moved category because Apophyx did it wrong - Not Chronicler

huh, probably a coincidence…

Maybe unintentional, but interesting nonetheless.

The ‘M’ with Makuta was probably intentional, they did the same with G1.

Not sure about the ‘E’ with Ekimu, but it works also :3

When did they do it in G1?

They’ve had masks and symbols resemble letters or have hidden meanings for a while now;

The symbols for Takanuva and the Brotherhood of Makuta resemble ‘T’ and ‘M’ respectfully and were designed to overlap which hinted towards Takutanuva.

The Cryoshell logo was deisgned to resemble both a ‘C’ and a shell

The Mask of Life being designed with the Mata Nui robot design;

(Yes i know the last one is not about letters, its generally showing that the masks are often designed with imagery of some kind to convey meaning)

Hmmm, very peculiar.

Protector Masks and Jaller Mahri mask…

@Radiation-7901 Buy new eyes. The similarities are quite obvious to see.

@TeslaEffect Ohhhh I guess it was so similar, I didn’t see it! Ha… :sweat:

Does that mean Jaller(I suppose with Hahli) created an entire generation of Okotans!

But SpeisCheese, love isn’t cannon in Bionicle!

Was my reply deleted? Or is there an internal error?

It is in the new canon.
