Hello everyone on the Boards!
I did this one on a whim.
I’ve been interested both in trying my hand more at 2D animation and in reanimating some Sonic cutscenes since I think many of them highly under-use the character design’s animation potential.
This is a short snippet from Sonic Forces that I think really fits the character, and I tried to add a lot more energy to his performance. The squash-and-stretch transition frames definitely could have been more exaggerated, and if this were fully animated I’d want to push it even further, but I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out.
