It went down a long ways.
Sar continued down.
The scientists attempted diffusing another bomb using the same ‘long stick’ technique.
There was a room at the bottom, littered with tin food cans.
Sar picked one up and threw it to the other end of the room.
There was a door on the other side of the room.
Sar walked towards it cautiously.
The Door did nothing.

They successfully defuse it
Celica meanders around
Sar’s arm shifts into a blaster, then he quickly opens the door and points the blaster inside.
The scientists silently rejoiced, before moving to the next one and trying again with the long stick.
The next room was shifting, several blocks were moving about inside it.

Another success!
Feeling more confident, they continued onwards, trying another the same way.
Sar looked for any other doors.
There weren’t any.
He looked for any other distinguishable things on the shifting room.

The bomb defuses, and its tripwire manages to pull all the other bomb’s tripwires in the hallway in such a way that they all are defused.
There was a door on the other side of the room.
They continue through the rest of the ship, defusing the bombs they find on the way.
Within hours, the ship was safe from further explosions, and reconstruction was about to begin.
Marius looks at the door. “Now, my main question. Have we found Eric?”

SAD!
The ship is safely defused, and Eric is confused as to why the explosions stopped.
Mechanics on the ship converse as they work on the ship.
A scientist shakes his head at Marius. “No, sir. We still haven’t seen him since we traversed into this universe.”
Marius cusses. “Of course.”
Sar runs towards the door, keeping aware of the shifting of the room.
