Reminds me of an astronaut’s gear.
Maybe you could add a little transparent coloured stud at the end of the weapon or give the barrel a more circular shape? It doesn’t exactly look like a firearm to me.
For the life of me I can’t find this neck you’re talking about.

Some of the armoring doesn’t flow consistently (mainly the region where the upper chest meets the neck), but everything else is solid!
