Star wars Durge and IG lancers (2004 clone wars)

I got a custom Durge minifig (unfortunately the comic style, I would’ve preferred the cartoon design), and ended up making some speeder bikes and droids for the joust scene. It’s one of my favorite scenes from the original clone war series.

I ended up giving the figure a shredder helmet as the one that he came with is stupid looking, I might modify the helmet a little bit to make it more accurate.

Obi-wan is slightly tweaked from the modern figure, and is using a snow trooper speeder from 2009ish. Everything else was built from scratch. Some of Durge’s weapons are custom pieces but everything else is official .

The cattle skull and Ninjago: Core bone swords on the skeleton-like speeder make it quite striking. I’m not familiar with the scene in question (I only watched the '08 Clone Wars), but the speeders do generally look pretty clean and well-done.

Its from an animated miniseries designed to bridge the gap between episodes 2-3.

It’s extremely fun, animated by the guy that did samurai jack.
