Well, I’ve had this guy lying around for a while, and I thought I would post him during HF February. Cut to now, 7:42 P.M. Feb 28, and I thought I should probably post it. Also, if this looks rushed, it’s because it was. I’m really late to watching American Idol.

Well, what to say here? It’s a fairly basic CCBS build, not a lot of fluff to it. Not that there’s anything wrong with that – heck, I’ve done it.
When you say “Doom edition”, I expect more than just Stormer 2.0 with a saw and a spear. In fact, the saw is the only real connection to Doom; doom guy’s super buff and thick, and this guy feels thin and lanky. The saw, while it looks nothing like a chainsaw, works pretty well as his arm blade thing. And the helmet… well, it’s just Stormer’s helmet, of course, but it does evoke doom guy sufficiently.
The hips are the biggest issue I have with this. As pointed out, they look wonky, almost disconnected from some angles – for example, the first two photos. Skirt design with the drone pieces is a neat idea, though they do stick out a bit – especially in the last picture, it might just be bad posing, but it’s almost perpendicular to the hip on his right side. It’s also pretty clear how much the wings stick out to the front and back there. They look good from the front and back, not so much the side
One thing I do like: the shield. The add-on on the 2.0 shield works surprisingly well. Also, is that a bootleg piece? It looks a little off, but I can’t put a finger on why…
Overall: has potential, but as you said:

I think it’s the fact that it’s bent downward; normally that piece sticks out more.
