I remember being a big K. Rool supporter because I liked the Donkey Kong Country games, and the K. Rool we got is an excellent fighter.

I’m expecting Crash because he’s gotta come at some point.
But the wishful side of me is actually really hoping for Dr. Eggman. Having another Sonic series fighter would be really awesome, and making it the villain just completes the hero/villain duos that were lacking in other Smash games (partially a reason why Ridley and K. Rool were so desperately wanted).
That and the complete and utter lack of Sonic game news has been killing me and I just want something Sonic-related somewhere.

Besides Steve and Banjo Kazooie, I have literally no reason to buy the DLC fighters. I dislike so many of them.

Because Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a wildly popular game that would have had a character in the base game if it had come out just a bit sooner? I was really excited to see they were getting a rep, I’m surprised that everyone on here is so disappointed.

At the exact same time that argument could be made for a whole bunch of other characters and games that did come out in time for smash with equally popular fanbases and income
