Has anyone attempted to make a real scale Tahtorak moc ? From my back of the napkin calculation it would be 120cm tall ?
Also keetongu based on the tower of toa prototype would be 3 toas tall ? Would be awesome to see a moc that huge (tho I can imagine the sceleton would have to be made out of sturdier joints then lego)

thats trueeee , there is the 3d printed huge Bomonga as well
but like any of these just with lego pieces could be monstrous, with the pieces being the same scale would feel imposing
Might be worth doing just a bust like you have on some gundam models
Trying to scale Keetongu based on a set that didn’t come out is fairly inaccurate. As for a moc being that big, there are several Keetongu mocs which greatly increase the size of the character. Take this one by Ben Cossy for example:
Making Tahtorak would require a precise scale of exactly how big it is. Where did you come up with the 120cm figure?
Three Toa tall is definitely possible, albeit with some joint issues that should be able to be resolved at some point in the future:
Note that the joint issues aren’t necessarily with the strength of the joints, but rather with the tolerances of Lego turntables allowing the joint to bypass the strength of the parts.
I can’t speak for the original post, but here’s my math which comes out to a similar figure:
The Rahi Beasts book states that Tahtorak are around 40 feet tall. Toa are around 7.2 feet tall on average. Assuming we want this to scale with the Toa Metru, a Metru build is somewhere in the mid-twenties tall in studs. Scaling that, taking a Metru build to be 25 studs tall, the Tahtorak model would be approximately 140 studs tall, or approximately 112 cm.
yeah that’s pretty fair, just when I think about Keetongu I remember the great temple scene and how he comes up behind Sidorak and then crushes him. Like in my head he is massive
And yeah pretty much the same way @TheJerminator said if Nokama metru is 7 feet in universe and 20.8cm IRL and Tahtorak is 40 feet in universe you ( 20.8 / 7 ) * 40 = so 118.85 =~ 120

Yeah so in theory, its like a bundle of sticks situation im guessing , especially with like the Knights Kingdom ratchet joints or the joints you find on the Exo Force Striking Venom
