Target hates Gali

I was browsing through a local target today, looking at the 2016 sets, and discovered they didn’t have all the new sets. I can’t believe Lego is moved to one isle. While looking for the rest of the 2016 Bionicle figures selection, I discovered this oddity.

(Was $14.99 Now $7.49)
I think Target just hates Gali 2016. Idk make of this what you will. I see absolutely no reason to put such a recent set on clearance. (Cuiriously, Pohatu and Lewa were also gone from target’s shelves.)

Was there any old sets?

Where they gone or was there even Pohatu and Lewa sets there to begin with?

I didn’t see any pohatu or lewa sets when I was there. I’m not sure what to make of it.

Did they have Umarak?

Hmm this could be really bad. Or People really don’t like Gali. But loved Lewa and Pohatu.

Yes, they had him, gali, tahu, kopaka and melum, onua, skull soldier, uxar, ketar, and gali’s uniter creature whose name escapes me.

I got a 2015 Gali for $10 last year sometime in March. It was odd.

You know things are weird when Akida costs more than Gali.

I would have taken as many as I could just for the parts and to save some money

But not enough to not go take advantage of this.

My Target also had both '15 and '16 Gali on clearance, and both were around 2 weeks after their initial waves started to sell.

This same thing happened last year. My Goodwill got a whole bunch of Galis, Onuas, and Pohatus in because all of the local stores couldn’t get rid of them fast enough and I got them all at half price.

Yikes. I might need to get one at Target now.

Went into WalMart and found no Bionicle sets at all

I haven’t been able to find any sets at three nearby Wal-Marts, not even a price sticker. Finally found some at target, no Gali though. I wonder if Wal-Mart is getting rid of BIONICLE altogether…
