Funny story about this one. There was this wip I started 3 years ago, hated it. Unstable as hell, could barely stand, and with terrible proportions to boot. Anyway, obviously I scrapped that, bar the head which I kept as it’s own thing, because I thought it was good (It wasn’t). Flash forward a few months, and I have it in my head to try and make a buildable figure of the red visors from Ninjago. I make two heads, a prototype and a final version, then sit on the idea.
Which brings us to this current moc. To be honest, I kind of just had an urge to build, so there’s no lore to this character, most I can say is that they’re a speedster and that I was inspired by motorcycles and the Valkyries from Macross in terms of looks. The head is a modified from that prototype red visor head, mostly just so it would accept a mata-style mask over the visor. The body and legs carry over some ideas from that old wip, though more refined. The torso still uses the same metru matoran torso, and the legs were created to resemble inika leg pieces. I also used a similar arm, leg, and upper torso frame from Toa Garia, though this build is more parts heavy than hers.
