I hate that I have to wait a day later for Episode 5 while PC owners are playing it as we type.

No spoilers for episode five please (S2).

In another note.

LEEEEEEEEEEEE WHYYYYYYYYYYYY * SOBS *

Note: for those who want to talk spoilers (and I sure want to), we’ve just installed a spoiler plugin. It blurs whatever text you want to be blurred, and you click it to make the blur go away. Example:
The Walking Dead games are made by Telltale
The Walking Dead games are made by Telltale

Because you now have tags, you can discuss spoilers. However, given the nature of Telltale’s episodic release, please also note the latest episode that you would have to play in order not to be spoiled. For example, (Season One Episode 5 Spoilers) Lee’s death.

Please also be aware that, since the spoiler tag is conveniently available, we are counting spoilers for both seasons. If it’s anything that might ruin the experience for someone who has not played the game, please put it under the tags alongside the latest episode that it would be a spoiler from. THIS INCLUDES THE MAIN CHARACTER OF SEASON TWO.

I realize that some might consider this common knowledge at this point, but there are multiple TTV members that have not played this game that I am trying to convince to play this game, and I would hate for their experience to be ruined on our own board.

That being said, going off the topic at hand, (Season Two Episode 5 Spoilers) tell me about your Clementine.

My baby girl did it. she made it to wellington :’) so sad for Kenny (after killing jane and all too) that he couldn’t come with Jr. and clem, but we will meet one day

(Note: This was getting long winded, so I thought I’d stop for the night. Spoilers go up to Season Two Episode 3) I’ve said it before on Twitter (Telltale retweeted it!) but my Clementine started off Season One as Carl and spent Season Two becoming the Governor.

See, my Clem starts off as any normal little girl would, always being protected, but smart enough to get stuff done. As Lee, my parting words to her were just that. “You’re smarter than them, Clementine.” And as he died, so did Clementine’s wish to keep being a little girl. She let her childhood die with Lee, chained to a water heater.

So with that in mind, my Clem set out to become the smartest there is. Being smart, however, meant being able to harden as time went on. So she started becoming ruthless. Bit by bit. Not heartless, mind you, but ruthless. She easily measured up what kind of people were worth sticking by and stood by them.

Like Lee, she always tried to keep the group together, but when push came to shove, she would side with who made the smartest decisions. She was loyal, but only so far. When people started screaming at her for no good reason, she’d quickly usher them out. She was quick to forgive, but only so far. Kenny pushed her patience. Bonnie completely shattered it.

Throughout the season, there was a pretty big divide between my Clementine and Sarah. Clem kept helping Sarah out of pity, but the more I did, the more I realized that she just wasn’t fit to live in this world. Clementine had lost everything, so she built herself again from the ground up, an adult in a child’s body. Sarah, on the other hand, was too fragile to be anything else but a kid.

The turning point for Clem was in Chapter 3, when Carver sat Clem down in his office. “We’re alike, you and I”, he said. And out of all of the options I wanted to choose, I knew which one my Clementine wanted to say. “I have to do everything for them,” she replied, because she did. They were adults, but I was already smarter than they were. Deep down, I was like Carver. Not exactly, of course. Not as heartless. But you couldn’t deny that he ran his place like clockwork, that when people listened to him, regardless of his violent methods, things got done right. I was sure that my Clem could do it better, had she been given the chance.

At the end, when Kenny decides to beat Carver’s head in, there wasn’t a moment’s hesitation. My Clem stayed. She stayed and looked him straight in the eye as his face was smashed to a pulp. “This isn’t something a little girl should see,” said the others, trying to turn me away. They were right. But my Clem stopped being a little girl in Savannah. This was Clementine, short hair, bloody hat, gun in hand. She’s the one that all the other adults had to rely on to solve their problems and calm their disputes, because they simply couldn’t. They just weren’t smart enough to do it by themselves.

Watching Kenny, there wasn’t any option to say anything, but I knew what she would have said. "You said we were alike, but you’re wrong, because I’m standing here, and you’re there on the ground, being beaten. Defeated. And I helped them do it. I’m alive, and you’re dead. We’re not alike, because I’m not a failure. I’m better than you. I won.

Had the option presented itself then and there, she would have taken the crowbar from Kenny and smashed Carver’s face in herself.

Now my question is… Let’s see if the blurring spoiler thing works…
Didn’t work. Dangit.

That ending tho…

I shot Kenny. I’d though he snapped. Kind of regret it now.
