Back when I was just a wee little lad, I had to read this book series for school. I believe the Piraka and Inika were out at the time- maybe Barraki (for context) I was in fifth grade, maybe sixth, idk. Me and my friends loved these children’s books. I had forgotten these existed until someone mentioned something and I got a nostalgic burst from remembering these existed. I went into my closet and found a box full of these books and like 400 cards. Remember, this was back before anime bleached my brain. If you don’t know what these books are I forgot what they were about myself but there was a card game linked to it- and that’s what made it cool to me as a young kid. If you don’t know what I’m talking about:
if you never read these as a kid you had no childhood /s
I won the original ten books plus a backpack from Barnes & Noble. I enjoyed them all, but couldn’t get into any of the ones after book 10.
I read the first ten
back when I actually read for fun
I read the first ten in like 5th grade and loved them.
However I kind of forgot about them…
(Also, the series got really meh after Book 10)
I read these for a while, but after book ten it got really boring.
I really liked these books.
I have the first 10, and numbers 1, 2, 3, and 6 from the second group.
I read the first ten and a few of the vespers one’s
I actually don’t know how that story ended
I loved 'em I remember though
what’s a vespers?
I read the first series as well as the Black Book and the Vespers Rising series. They were okay, looking back.
The Vespers are a family, Vesper is their last name.
I listened to the audio books, it was an enjoyable series and the voice acting was surprisingly good. After the 3rd book of the 2nd series it got kinda bad, and I hated the ending.
I wouldn’t know… For clarification I never went past like, book 9, because I forgot about them because I “got too old”
Oh my goodness! This was my favorite series in fourth grade! I got to about the fifth book in the second wave of stories.
I read the first as a child. It was boring for me and I never read the rest.
