Ah agraaaaay
I dont understand all the hype behind this show
Same with regular show
It’s a lot better than most of the other stuff that’s on, but it certainly has its lame episodes.
Okay so rise
Its lame
its completely lame
Ofcoursethatsmyopinionsoplzdontgetmadforumusersokay?
I understand why you don’t like it, that’s cool.
Just saying the show has its ups and downs.
I know
and every show has its ups and downs
Season 1 was pretty good, S2 not so much. S3… same situation as S2.
It’s gotten better, but it’s still something you have to watch for a few seasons to like.
I’m so behind on Adventure Time, but from the season’s I’ve seen (an episode where Jake’s had a falling out with one of his son’s, the lawyer) but I really enjoy it. The one off adventure episodes are a lot of fun, but I especially like the ones that go into the actual story/story arc of the season.
Hey y’all! Just wanted to mention probably one of my favorite things to come from AT:
MUDSCAMPS
You might be surprised
That it took me so long to mention them, but honestly,
Liked the older episodes the new ones not as much… never really got into the show in the first place please dont hurt me
Season 6 is really bad, most of the original crew left and the youngblood dont know what to do
So season 7 started, and it’s still bland as ever…
I feel like people are jumping off the Adventure Time Bandwagon, and probably on to the Steven Universe one. While Adventure time was previously full of filler (I mean ALOT in Season 6 and early 7) they started picking up the pace with actually meaningful episodes like Don’t Look and I am a Sword. Don’t get me wrong, Steven Universe is NOT a bad show, (but I don’t really like it myself but this isn’t about me) I just feel like people just abandoned it because SU got around and SU got to the point quick unlike AT’s longer, more fillerish story. I think Rebecca Sugar (who previously worked on AT) was the reason people left the show, like memorable episodes and fan favorites such as I Remember You what was what people were at AT for. When she left, what the show was to them was gone. Now, in SU, she isn’t just a writer (I think thats what she was) she’s the creator. Also, some things people probably wanted to see in Adventure Time she wasn’t allowed to do, like certain undertones and messages, and now they see them in Steven Universe (you guys know what I mean) It’s just that AT jumps around with with how fillery it is. I think that the show is coming to a close soon anyway. Come on, we may be getting a Season 9 soon (8 is confirmed). Even I have to admit that. I pretty certain though when AT ends SU will still be going (like I said I’m not crazy about it but I CAN see 10 seasons of it without getting stale)
TL;DR Come back to AT, it’s getting good, just because you like SU it wasn’t a reason to leave.
Also I’m making a topic about this but It can be closed if it’s too specific
I always liked both, adventure time and steven universe, even after AT ends in 2018, it will have a special place in my heart
Now, on the episodes, have you guys seen the “Islands” special? Man it is good, it’s explaining a lot of things that didnt have an answer before
Adventure Time just finished
Anyone have thoughts? Limit the spoilers tho, don’t wanna spoil for those who haven’t seen it.
I never watched that thing and I don’t want to watch it.
As someone who lost interest in the series some time around the sixth season, I’d like to know one thing before deciding whether to pick it back up: did Adventure Time start focusing more on the overarching story line or did the series return to its original, episodic format with more subtlety in the world building?
I think it was kinda both, can’t remember it well
There were overarching plots throughout, with a few other side story episodes, but as far as the more recent episodes, I think it had more of a continuity
They did have a Minecraft episode before the finale tho
