So apparently, Eoin Colfer is working on a new series that stars Myles and Beckett Fowl:
Honestly, I’m not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, I love the world of Artemis Fowl, and am glad to see it return. On the other hand, I’m not sure that this is the best way to explore that world, and there’s a good chance it’ll end up a watered down version of the originals. I guess we won’t know either way until it comes out in 2020, but I’m not holding my breath.

ANYWAYS! To be fair, Colfer did leave things a bit open between the ending of the last book and the secret message of the last book. But that is no guarantee of the quality of this spin off series. I have a feeling this could go either way. We will just have to wait and see…2020…freaking wait times.
