To quote myself:
I have considered joining within the hour the topic went up. However, I will unfortunately decline the offer. I may be able to force myself to write regardless of fatigue or the rare instance of missing motivation, but I can’t without a spark. No bolt of inspiration or idea of direction, I can’t create without one of those. Sure, I have hundreds of already existing characters, but I like to make new ones tailored to the specific game.
And since then, we have seen an example of what happens when I force myself to make a character and play in a game when I have no spark, interest, or investment. I’d like to say the difference should be obvious to anyone, though evidence suggests otherwise. Regardless, I care a whole lot more about my internal logic than its perception. And if I’m not happy with the forced sludge I’ve created then the rest doesn’t matter.
