Hey y’all. This is a very interesting moc to me, and possibly one of the oldest mocs I’ve posted on the boards. This is a makuta moc that my older brother @K0pakasword03 originally started building for the G2 Makuta contest back in, what was it 2015? 2016? Either way, he couldn’t finish it in time for the contest and then just kinda gave up on it after missing the deadline. I however wanted to see the project finished, so I decided to do it myself. My brother made the legs and body and I made the arms and head. These photos were taken back in 2021, after which I promptly forgot about them and only recently found them again on my phone. The build is no longer together. Now, here he is
Alright, tell me what you think! I know it’s not fantastic, but it is definitely the largest thing I’ve ever even helped to build, so it’s a cool part of my moccing history. Thanks for viewing, have a nice day!

I like the collection of masks around his abdomen

That is a really cool moc you have there. Love the detail you put on him. He is awesome.

what sort of joints are you using for the legs? Thinking about it since I recently got the new Ninjago cole mech, which has to use a bunch of special joints for the shoulders and hips. I imagine as a constraction build this might be less dense, but it’s also larger overall.
On that note, how posable can he be? Since I don’t see any pictures of him outside a default stance

The hip is just made of several ball joints, but the knees use the same ratcheted joints as the elbows.
As you might have predicted, the moc was pretty hard to pose, though each area has a different reason. The head could only turn maybe 30 degrees in either direction, and could look slightly up or down. The shoulders are actually very maneuverable, as I intentionally tried to make it that way. However, the arms are also very heavy and rarely stay in place for very long, especially not with that heavy staff in hand. The legs had a decent amount of articulation, however they had a lot of trouble holding up the rest of the moc.
Tbh I probably could have posed it better, however back when I took these photos I didn’t have the patience to even try, and I really wanted to take it apart to refill my parts bin.
