This was a very action-packed chapter, maybe even the most action-packed in this book so far, which means not many theories this time. I think you’ve gotten way better at describing stuff like people giving each other blunt head trauma through extremely diverse means since the first book. Now the action is much easier to follow and comprehend

With his teeth clenched, Diero gripped McGick by the shoulders and shoved his face into the fellow’s head, caving in his skull and destroying all his visible features

Yeeeees that’s the kind of stuff I want to see in these!

But that was hardly more than a hindrance, as his new armor was powered by the logic of a world where anything is possible. As Ghidrius’ steel met Renner’s shoulder, the metal thinned in other areas to strengthen the section where the blow had landed

Now that’s a cool power. Kind of like metalperson’s armour from revengers: finale.
I like how it doesn’t give him full invincibility, but rather strengthens one area, while weakening the others, meaning you can still harm him if you go around the protected area. I have a feeling that this is gonna become relevant very soon

So, I’ve made a pretty interesting observation: depending on the person from whose perspective the story is told, some descriptions tend to change: for example, when Tott was the main character, almost all other characters were referred to by the nicknames Tott gave them and there were many snarky remarks, like when describing Winger’s helmet, you called it something along the lines of “stupid French robot helmet”, but in Armaghiddon, when the main focus switched to Winger, it turned into a “helmet with a slick black visor”, because now Winger is the main character and we see everything from his perspective.

So, here’s my point: you called Renner “The silvery stooge” and there’s only one person who referred to him this way. Tott. And, by extension, Volume, meaning that Renner’s story in Armaghiddon is somehow told from Volume’s perspective.

Somehow this sentence makes no sense to me. It falls apart whenever I read the last two words. How does the “did you?” tie into the rest?

Also, I swear that when I first read this chapter I found two typos, but they’re gone now. Was it your doing or am I trippin?

He’s back! Monopoly is pretty much the Bo_ equivalent of “rocks fall everyone dies”, so Renner and Diero are certainly in for a ride
Monops is like the four horsemen of apocalypse: when he appears, the real fun begins
