Sometimes a GM wishes to get the game going.
@ProfSrlojohn you can fly a little but not too much. Maybe about five meters but that’s it.
gotcha
@ProfSrlojohn I’ve stated in the post that he is about 7’ tall so yes he is even bigger than a tall human and bulkier.
How much weight do you think he could take on his shield?
Can you be a little bit more specific?
Definitely more than 1600 pounds
Could he handle about 2000 lbs on top of him? With his shield up presumably?
If you are planning on landing on him. Try that out. Though if it will work or not I don’t know, if you would succeed or not. I want to make this challenging as possible even if its the first boss. And he is crazy strong so he will mostly likely stay sturdy on his feet. Maybe after the next big post I will tell you how to beat him by using my NPCs.
Alright, but one question, how is the success up to me? I don’t know how much weight he can take.
No, I edit that part because I have poorly written that out. What I mean is if you would succeed or not. That is up to me to decide.
Gotcha. Okay, just a mite confused.
how does magic counteract something designed to counteract magic, that’s using the logic that you can smother a fire with dry grass
If I would allow you to simply paralyze or render it with no magic it wouldn’t be as challenging. Plus, for her to have this ability is also magic, granted, there is this thing called magic immunity. The Guardian has it, or at least the shield has it.
@Traykar I understand that it may not be too realistic for someone to attack and block many attacks. But keep in mind this Guardian has a very high awareness and reaction time. But that doesn’t mean that you can dodge every single attack with the excuse he was attacking in too many directions or was trying to be in too many places.
Also keep in mind, the Guardian was in one place while you guys went at him, so this furthermore proves my point. You were going at him, not he at you.
The Guardian has taken an amount of punishment, his armor is dent as well as his shield being severely damaged. While others also played fair and did not dodged everything.
I will not accept that you dodge everything, it violates some of the rules I’ve put on the signup. The excuse that he was slashing at too many things at once is invalid and as a GM I decide how much a NPC can do and I like to think that I did not do anything as of now that violated any of your guys’ boundaries. What he was doing was defend and attack while also taking damage but also giving it back.
But if I did step out of the line please tell me. Like I’ve stated. I’m opened for feedback if there is any to give.
The Guardian has been at this for many times and due to its enhanced awareness and reflexes he is that fast with his reaction time.
He can’t slice at everything at the same time, he might be faster than out characters, but he’s greatly outnumbered. If he tries to take on everything at once, he’s going to over extend himself.
I suppose you may be right but still. Others have taken damage while you didn’t with an invalid excuse. You could have come to me in this OOC and told me first handed.
I figured that each swing wouldn’t be as effective if he had to suddenly stop and swing at someone else.
Who’s to say that his swings are not effective every time he strikes? This Guardian is beyond human condition, so are the antagonist of this RP. They can take on a squadron of enemies, of course, they will be able to handle you guys alone as well.
All I wanted was to make this first battle challenging so it may give you that thrill and kick your gears into working.
So tell me what’s the point in my character even having their abilities if you’re just going to ignore them?
